Assistant Manager – Transport Operations (Bangalore/Indore)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to lead transport operations across our Bangalore and Indore sites. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth movement of employees and goods while optimizing fleet performance and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement transportation strategies to guarantee timely and efficient movement of people and cargo.
• Manage a fleet of vehicles, including scheduling, routing, maintenance, and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify and drive process improvements.
• Monitor transportation costs, analyse data, and devise expense‑reduction initiatives.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and service providers and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide training and guidance to junior team members on best practices.

Required profile

• 7‑12 years of experience in transportation operations, fleet management or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and industry standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, Logistics, Business Administration or a related discipline.
