Medical Science Liaison – Vaccine

About the role

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for vaccines will work primarily in the field, acting as a scientific bridge between Pfizer and healthcare professionals. The role focuses on delivering accurate medical information, supporting research collaborations, and enhancing patient outcomes through education and data-driven insights.

Key responsibilities

• Execute field‑based medical tactics aligned with Pfizer Medical Affairs priorities.
• Provide education on the clinical impact of Pfizer vaccines, including real‑world data analyses and medical presentations.
• Deliver objective, scientifically sound information through educational programs and scientific collaborations.
• Identify and engage assigned customers, share insights internally, and uncover collaboration opportunities.
• Lead customer‑specific projects, strategic partnerships, and non‑interventional studies to improve care.
• Maintain up‑to‑date market and customer knowledge in a dynamic environment.
• Manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and demonstrate sound judgment.
• Communicate across live, virtual, and written channels, ensuring patient‑centric messaging.
• Support Investigator Sponsored Research (ISR) processes and stay current with congress data and disease literature.
• Build cross‑functional relationships within Pfizer and meet KOL engagement metrics.

Required profile

• University degree in Medicine or Pharmacy.
• 1‑3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry (medical or commercial).
• Prior experience in the vaccine therapeutic area is preferred.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry codes, policies, and local regulations.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and conflict‑management skills.
• Excellent ability to communicate complex scientific information clearly.
• Experience working in a matrixed, multi‑disciplinary team.
• Highly organized, flexible, and able to prioritize multiple demands.
• Quick adoption of new digital technologies for medical engagement.
