Storage and System Engineer

About the role

Qvantel is looking for a Storage and System Engineer to join its team in Algiers. This full‑time hybrid position will support the company’s AI‑driven BSS platform by ensuring the reliability and performance of its storage infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain storage solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
• Monitor system health, perform performance tuning, and resolve incidents related to storage and servers.
• Administer system operations, including backups, replication, and high‑availability configurations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate storage services with application platforms.
• Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience in storage management, system administration, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work both on‑site in Algiers and remotely as needed.
• Relevant certifications in storage or system administration are a plus.
