Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

About the role

Big Mama Technology is seeking a hands‑on Chief Technology Officer to define and execute the technical vision for its suite of products. You will own everything from high‑level architecture to the code that runs in production, while shaping the engineering team and influencing the company’s global strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the overall technical vision and architecture across all products.
• Research emerging technologies and advise leadership on strategic decisions.
• Design, develop, and maintain product features, write RFCs, and build MVPs.
• Lead AI/ML engineering: model selection, evaluation pipelines, RAG systems, embeddings, and prompt engineering.
• Implement safety guardrails, input/output validation, and content‑abuse controls.
• Design scalable, secure infrastructure; manage outages, backups, and digital security measures.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in software engineering and technical leadership.
• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven ability to mentor engineers and communicate technical decisions to stakeholders.

• Software architecture and cloud infrastructure design.
• Machine‑learning model selection and evaluation.
• Retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) systems and embeddings.
• Prompt engineering and AI safety guardrails.
• Input/output validation and security best practices.
