About the role

Repsol Exploracion Algeria is seeking a bilingual Management Controller who will also lead external and institutional relations. The role combines financial control with regulatory and stakeholder engagement to support a favorable operating environment for the company.

Key responsibilities

• Support the institutional relations strategy and coordinate regulatory activities to represent the company before national and international stakeholders.
• Execute institutional and regulatory action plans, preparing reports, position papers and responses to legislative inquiries.
• Plan and manage participation in industry associations and sector forums to enhance visibility and influence.
• Monitor new regulations and public policies, ensuring the company stays compliant.
• Provide management control within the assigned scope, aligning financial performance with strategic and budgetary objectives.
• Track budget, forecast and actuals, explain variances and prepare management reports and presentations.
• Monitor performance indicators, income statements and efficiency improvement initiatives.
• Analyze investment proposals for economic viability and alignment with group strategy.
• Create and maintain databases and analytical tools, guaranteeing data quality.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of experience in finance, controlling or institutional relations, preferably in the oil & gas sector.
• Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset, structured work style and ability to operate in regulated, international environments.
• High level of English (B2‑C1) and proficiency in French.
