Electronics Technician – P-4 SAKITS Pod Support

About the role

The Electronics Technician provides operation and maintenance support for P-4 SAKITS pods used in the Royal Saudi Air Force F15C/D ACMI program. Working on‑site in the pod shop, the technician ensures pods are ready for mission use and complies with Cubic’s quality, safety and security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain detailed logs for pod check‑in/out, status, availability and elapsed time meter readings.
• Operate and maintain the P-4 SAKITS Test Set and perform O‑Level and I‑Level maintenance tests, including replacement of Shop Replaceable Assemblies.
• Load programs, perform subsystem tests, and load pre‑mission data onto the Data Transfer Device (DTD).
• Operate graphics terminals during live exercises, assist with display and control operations, and provide technical assistance to aircrews for replay/debriefing.
• Maintain mission tape records, mission event logs, and interface directly with RSAF regarding sortie effectiveness.
• Support display equipment operation, perform additional duties as directed by the Site Supervisor, and adhere to all company policies.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience collaborating with field service technicians and site management.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate logging and documentation.

Required skills

• Operation and maintenance of P-4 SAKITS Test Set.
• Use of Data Transfer Device (DTD) for mission data loading.
• Operation of graphics terminals for live exercise control.
• Replacement and troubleshooting of Shop Replaceable Assemblies (SRAs).
