Junior Petroleum Production Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Production Engineer to support our oil and gas production operations in Algeria. The role involves monitoring well performance, analysing daily production data, and helping to achieve safe and efficient production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily production performance and analyse operational data.
• Identify and implement production optimisation opportunities.
• Support well testing, surveillance and production reporting activities.
• Collaborate with field operations, drilling and reservoir teams.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies and company procedures.
• Prepare technical reports and production summaries.
• Participate in troubleshooting production issues and recommend solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 0 to 3 years of experience in oil and gas production operations.
• Basic knowledge of production engineering principles and well operations.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
