Lounge Attendant

About the role

As a Lounge Attendant you will be the front‑line host who creates a memorable dining experience for guests at Marriott’s Trust Complex lounge in Algiers. You will combine attentive service with a friendly attitude to ensure every guest feels welcomed and valued.

Key responsibilities

• Set and arrange tables, ensuring proper presentation and cleanliness.
• Communicate guest orders to the kitchen and coordinate timely delivery of food and beverages.
• Serve guests courteously, answer menu questions, and handle special requests.
• Maintain a tidy work area, restock supplies, and adhere to health‑and‑safety standards.
• Verify menu information visually and assist guests in making informed choices.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving items up to 25 lb unaided (50 lb with assistance).

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• Less than one year of related hospitality experience.
• No prior supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move on uneven or slippery surfaces for extended periods.
• Willingness to follow company policies, safety procedures, and uniform standards.
