Patient Journey Partner

About the role

The Patient Journey Partner (PJP) is a senior, locally embedded leader who acts as the primary liaison between Roche and all stakeholders influencing the patient journey within a specific therapeutic area. The role focuses on co‑creating solutions that improve outcomes for patients, their communities, and the broader health ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the trusted, non‑exclusive point of contact for patients, healthcare professionals, payers, NGOs and other ecosystem partners.
• Gather and communicate stakeholder needs internally, prioritize initiatives and secure Roche resources to address them.
• Partner with external stakeholders to identify and remove barriers, unlocking value throughout the patient journey.
• Steward Roche’s product portfolio across its lifecycle, ensuring appropriate, balanced communication of benefits to healthcare professionals.
• Leverage Roche’s scientific expertise and network to co‑create innovative, patient‑centric solutions.
• Drive cross‑functional collaboration without sales or profitability targets.

Required profile

• 6–10 years of experience in healthcare, pharma, or related ecosystem roles.
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholder groups.
• Strong understanding of patient empowerment, health system dynamics and therapeutic areas.
• Leadership mindset with decision‑making authority to request internal resources.

Required skills

• Excellent stakeholder engagement and partnership building.
• Deep knowledge of healthcare ecosystems and patient journey mapping.
• Ability to translate scientific information into clear, balanced messaging.
