Procurement Officer

About the role

The Procurement Officer will manage the end‑to‑end purchasing process for all departments of El Kendi, part of MS Pharma. You will ensure optimal cost, lead‑time and quality by coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers, while continuously improving procurement efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Apply the purchasing SOP strictly across the organization.
• Identify, evaluate and onboard new suppliers.
• Process purchase requests, create purchase orders and obtain necessary approvals.
• Coordinate supplier setup in the ERP system together with Finance, Quality, Planning and IT.
• Manage item code creation and maintain up‑to‑date purchase order files.
• Monitor order execution, resolve delays, quality issues, discrepancies or changes in collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Track supplier payments and follow up with Finance.
• Prepare regular procurement reports for management.
• Propose and implement measures to enhance procurement performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in supply chain, engineering or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of procurement experience.
• Fluent in Arabic, French and English (written and spoken).
• Strong communication, negotiation and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and take initiative.

Required skills

• Knowledge of commercial laws and regulations.
