Production Data Management Engineer

About the role

The Production Data Management Engineer supports the safe, efficient and reliable delivery of Schlumberger’s products and services to customers. Working closely with operations teams, the role drives continuous improvement, promotes new technologies and provides real‑time technical assistance throughout the sales and service delivery lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with operations groups to identify improvement opportunities and communicate findings.
• Provide technical support and real‑time incident response for production data management issues.
• Assist project leads in developing technical job designs and evaluating cost‑effective techniques.
• Support tender appraisal, technical viability assessments and risk management.
• Stay current on emerging technologies and represent the company in professional societies.
• Collaborate with design and technical engineers to optimise solutions.
• Contribute to technical publications, papers and university partnerships.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (M2) or higher in engineering or a related field.
• 10 + years of experience in production operations, data management or related engineering roles.
• Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
