Senior Accountant / Comptable senior

About the role

Chefra Solutions Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to independently manage a portfolio of Canadian business clients. The role involves full‑cycle bookkeeping, month‑end close, financial reporting and preparation of tax‑ready files using QuickBooks Online.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain full‑cycle bookkeeping for approximately 15 clients, ensuring accurate general‑ledger entries and reconciliations.
• Perform month‑end close procedures, reconcile bank, credit‑card, loan and intercompany accounts, and prepare monthly financial statements.
• Collaborate with tax reviewers or CPA leads to produce tax‑ready files and support tax preparation.
• Respond to client inquiries, request missing documents, and meet compliance deadlines.
• Work primarily in QuickBooks Online, follow standardized SOPs, and identify process inefficiencies for automation.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• QuickBooks Online certification (mandatory).
• 3–7+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably managing multiple clients.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets proficiency and high attention to detail.
