Senior Technical Engineer – Structural Design

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Technical Engineer to lead structural design activities for projects in Adrar, Algeria. The role involves overseeing design, ensuring compliance with codes and standards, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe and cost‑effective solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Review and manage structural designs, calculations, and consultant deliverables.
• Perform value engineering and identify design or construction risks early.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, design standards, and project requirements.
• Coordinate structural works with architectural and MEP disciplines.
• Review shop drawings, material and technical submittals, and as‑built documentation.
• Oversee structural analysis, temporary works, and onsite material testing.
• Lead technical teams, mentor engineers, and support HSE initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience, including at least 5 years in a senior technical engineering role.
• Strong knowledge of structural design, building codes, and design standards.
• Proficiency with CAD tools; experience with SAP is preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
