About the role

We are looking for a Senior Auditor to join our accounting and consulting firm in Algiers. The role focuses on audit and statutory audit missions, especially within the banking sector, and involves both field work at client sites and coordination of audit teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and supervise audit and statutory audit missions for banking clients.
• Develop audit work programmes, questionnaires, templates and audit files.
• Analyse financial statements and assess internal control procedures.
• Perform on‑site visits to client locations to gather evidence and discuss findings.
• Participate in various assignments related to the firm’s service portfolio.

Required profile

• University degree in accounting, audit, finance or a related field.
• Proven experience in audit and statutory audit, with significant exposure to the banking sector.
• Strong analytical, writing and synthesis abilities.
• Residency in the Algiers wilaya.
