About the role

The Senior Internal Controller will lead the design, deployment and continuous improvement of the internal control framework for Groupe CEVITAL in Algeria. The role involves coordinating with process owners, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing risk‑based insights to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Define objectives, raise awareness and mobilise stakeholders for the internal control system.
• Design, implement and document control activities, including functional organigrams, procedural notes, control plans, control grids and internal control charters.
• Maintain and update the internal control database, ensuring data integrity and regulatory monitoring.
• Prepare and conduct supervision controls: interviews, sampling, result analysis and identification of improvement points.
• Perform self‑diagnostics to assess the relevance and maturity of the control framework across functional areas.
• Identify, analyse and prioritise risks linked to subsidiary activities, and evaluate residual risks with managers and functional referents.
• Produce and analyse internal control dashboards, present results to hierarchy and contribute to the definition of overall orientations.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (Master 1, Master 2, Ingéniorat) or equivalent Bac + 4/5.
• 6 to 10 years of experience in internal control, audit or risk management.
• Proven ability to design control frameworks, conduct supervisory audits and synthesize findings for senior stakeholders.
