Expert en communication (Projet UE au Maroc)

About the role

We are looking for a Communication Expert to join a EU‑funded visibility and public diplomacy project in Morocco. The position is part of a team of non‑key experts supporting the European Union’s strategic communication, cultural outreach and stakeholder engagement in the country.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement communication strategies that enhance EU visibility in Morocco.
• Design and launch communication campaigns across digital and traditional media.
• Manage media relations, produce press materials and coordinate outreach activities.
• Create and adapt content for diverse audiences, including Arabic, Darija and French.
• Support public diplomacy and cultural initiatives to strengthen EU‑Morocco partnership.
• Collaborate with project partners and stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging.

Required profile

• Minimum BAC+3 (Bachelor’s) in Communication, Public Relations, Marketing or related field; alternatively 6 years of relevant experience without the degree.
• Fluent French; knowledge of Arabic, Moroccan Arabic (Darija) and English is an asset.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in institutional or project communication, or 6 years if the academic requirement is not met.
• Minimum 1 year of specific experience supporting EU visibility or public diplomacy initiatives.
