Finance Modeling Associate – Financial Analyst

About the role

Baladna El Djazaier is building a large‑scale agro‑industrial platform in Algeria and seeks a Finance Modeling Associate to support strategic decision‑making, budgeting, forecasting and investment analysis across the project.

Key responsibilities

• Build, update and maintain detailed financial models such as DCF, scenario and project‑economics models.
• Support the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting cycles.
• Conduct variance analysis and identify performance drivers.
• Analyse financial statements and operational data to underpin business cases.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather assumptions and validate projections.
• Prepare dashboards, presentations and reports for senior management.
• Ensure data accuracy, model robustness and compliance with internal policies.
• Identify opportunities to automate and optimise modelling tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in financial modelling, valuation or related analytical roles.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Detail‑oriented with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Knowledge of financial modelling and valuation techniques.
