First Line Manager – Pharmaceutical Sales (East Region)

About the role

The First Line Manager leads, coaches, and motivates a team of Pharmaceutical Sales Representatives to achieve sales objectives and ensure excellent field execution across the eastern region.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize and supervise daily activities and field visits of the sales team.
• Ensure proper execution of territory coverage plans and field force routing.
• Monitor and optimize management of the pharmacy portfolio assigned to the team.
• Analyze individual and team performance using KPIs and implement corrective action plans.
• Identify training needs, organize coaching sessions and development programs.
• Develop and execute sales strategies in collaboration with Commercial and Medical departments.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and sales conditions with pharmacies according to company policies.
• Prepare regular sales reports and provide business insights to management.

Required profile

• University degree in Commercial, Finance or equivalent (Master 2, Ingéniorat, Bac + 5, etc.).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including at least 2 years in people management, with a total experience range of 6‑10 years.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical market and pharmacy channel.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical sales techniques and customer relationship management.
• Expertise in sales planning, forecasting and territory management.
• Ability to analyse commercial KPIs and sales performance.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulations and ethical promotion standards.
