Freelance Market Research Analyst & Interviewer – Algeria

About the role

We are seeking a self‑employed Market Research Analyst and Interviewer based in Algeria to support our global research projects. The work is fully remote, coordinated with project managers, and focuses on gathering and analysing market data for leading multinational clients.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct desk research by reviewing secondary sources and compiling relevant information.
• Perform store checks to record product details at retail locations.
• Interview manufacturers, suppliers, distributors and other value‑chain players via phone or face‑to‑face.
• Build and manipulate data sets to estimate market sizes, brand shares and other metrics.
• Analyse quantitative and qualitative data, test hypotheses and prepare insights.

Required profile

• Based in Algeria with a minimum availability of 30 hours per week.
• University degree (4+ years) in Business, Economics, Marketing, Sociology, Anthropology or related fields.
• Fluent in English and experienced in remote or project‑based work.
• Strong attention to detail, tenacity in information gathering and excellent communication skills.
