Senior Account Manager – Transportation

About the role

Huawei Algeria is looking for a Senior Account Manager to lead business development and client relationship management within the country’s transportation sector. You will use deep industry knowledge and ICT sales expertise to expand Huawei’s presence, capture new projects, and deliver end‑to‑end solutions for transportation customers.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse the Algerian transportation market, policy trends and infrastructure plans to shape targeted account strategies.
• Identify and develop a pipeline of new transportation projects, guiding opportunities from discovery through contract signing and delivery.
• Achieve sales quotas and business‑growth targets set by the Transportation Department.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with key client stakeholders, understanding their pain points and proposing customised ICT solutions.
• Lead cross‑functional teams to prepare proposals, negotiate contracts and ensure smooth project implementation.
• Monitor competitive activity and market intelligence to keep Huawei’s offerings ahead of the curve.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in B2B sales or account management, preferably in ICT, telecom or transportation projects.
• Strong understanding of Algeria’s transportation industry, infrastructure investment cycles and regulatory environment.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing complex, multi‑stakeholder projects.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in French and English.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of ICT solutions for transportation (e.g., networking, data communication, smart transport systems).
• Ability to develop and present technical proposals that translate business value.
