Senior Events Manager – EU Outreach Project

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Senior Events Manager to support the EU’s communication outreach and engagement project across North Africa, the Middle East and the Gulf. The role focuses on planning, delivering and evaluating high‑visibility events that promote EU policies and partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver conferences, seminars, workshops, press events and public outreach activities.
• Manage all logistical aspects, including venue selection, participant registration and supplier liaison.
• Coordinate event schedules, speakers, moderators and technical service providers.
• Support protocol arrangements for high‑level EU officials, partner institutions and external stakeholders.
• Supervise on‑site implementation to ensure smooth delivery.
• Prepare and distribute event‑related communication materials and participant information.
• Conduct post‑event reporting, evaluations and capture lessons learned.
• Collaborate closely with communication teams, service providers and DG MENA throughout the event lifecycle.

Required profile

• University degree (or equivalent professional experience) in event management, communication or hospitality.
• Fluent English; French and/or Arabic considered an asset.
• Minimum 5 years of general experience in event organisation and logistics.
• At least 3 years of specific experience managing institutional or communication events.
