Social Media Manager – YouTube Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a data‑driven, creative YouTube specialist to join our team and help grow and optimise established YouTube channels. The role goes beyond publishing content, covering algorithm mechanics, SEO, CTR, retention, RPM, and overall monetisation strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Audit existing YouTube channels, pinpoint performance drop‑offs and growth opportunities.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve CTR, audience retention, RPM and overall channel revenue.
• Optimise video packaging – titles, thumbnail concepts and SEO‑driven descriptions.
• Analyse YouTube Studio data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Monitor audience engagement and incorporate viewer feedback into content strategies.
• Collaborate closely with the content production team to enhance end‑to‑end video performance.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience managing and growing YouTube channels.
• Proven track record of measurable channel growth.
• Strong knowledge of YouTube algorithms, audience retention, CTR and RPM optimisation.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and proactive attitude.

What we offer

• $700 USD per month base fee.
• Up to $300 USD quarterly performance bonus based on KPIs and channel growth.
• Independent contractor / service contract.
• Payments made in two equal instalments on the 15th and 30th of the following month.
