Airport Services Duty Supervisor (Fixed-Term, 1 Year)

About the role

Join Qatar Airways Ground Services in Algiers as an Airport Services Duty Supervisor on a one‑year fixed‑term contract. Reporting to the Duty Officer, you will lead a team to deliver the airline’s award‑winning 5‑star customer service and ensure smooth airport operations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as station coordinator between the ground handling agent and Qatar Airways, driving on‑time flight closure and passenger boarding.
• Supervise the airport team to achieve on‑time performance and manage efficient duty allocations for Customer Service Agents.
• Support the Airport Services Duty Officer during flight disruptions, misconnections and other passenger issues.
• Perform the Aircraft Turnaround Check (ATC) as assigned, ensuring safe ground‑ramp operations.
• Generate operational reports, maintain a tidy workplace, and serve as the primary contact for agents needing assistance.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, quality and environmental policies.

Required profile

• Relevant college or university qualification.
• Minimum 4 years of supervisory experience in airline or reputable ground handling operations.
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Weight and Balance procedures.
• Experience with ramp handling operations.
• Understanding of Dangerous Goods Regulations.
