Business Support Manager

About the role

The Business Support Manager will oversee all non‑production support functions for the Baladna Dairy Farm Project in Adrar, Algeria. Working across the project site and headquarters in Algiers, the role ensures logistics, accommodation, fleet, and vendor services are delivered safely, efficiently and cost‑effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement Business Support policies, service level agreements and annual plans for all locations.
• Prepare, monitor and optimise the consolidated Business Support budget.
• Lead and develop the Business Support team and external contractor workforce.
• Oversee facilities, office services, utilities, cleaning and access control at HQ and the project site.
• Manage the company fleet, including utilisation, maintenance, fuel, documentation and safety compliance.
• Coordinate domestic and international travel, visa logistics and accommodation for employees, expatriates and visitors.
• Ensure efficient camp and staff housing operations, catering, hygiene and welfare.
• Prepare specifications, evaluate tenders and manage contracts with subcontractors, ensuring SLA compliance and HSE standards.
• Produce monthly dashboards on costs, service levels and stakeholder satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Hospitality Management or a related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in general services, camp/facility management or site logistics for large‑scale industrial or agricultural projects.
• Proven experience managing fleet operations, travel coordination and workforce accommodation.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, environment (HSE) regulations, vendor management and cost control.
• Fluency in English; French and/or Arabic preferred.
