Chargé HSE – Health, Safety & Environment Officer

About the role

AE2I Algérie is looking for a Chargé HSE to join its team in Naâma on a temporary basis. The position focuses on ensuring that the company complies with quality, safety and environmental standards in an industrial or tertiary setting. The successful candidate will work closely with operational teams to monitor, evaluate and improve HSE performance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001 standards.
• Identify, assess and mitigate occupational risks.
• Prepare, update and control HSE documentation and records.
• Support internal and external audits related to quality, safety and environment.
• Promote a culture of safety and environmental awareness among staff.

Required profile

• Degree level Bac+4 to Bac+5 in Quality, Safety, Environment or a related field.
• 1 to 5 years of professional experience in a similar HSE role, preferably in an industrial or tertiary environment.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in French.
• Rigorous, reactive and analytical mindset for risk anticipation and management.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 45001.
• Proficiency with HSE management software.
• Competence in standard computer tools.
