Commercial Project Manager – Finance & Project Execution

About the role

As a Commercial Project Manager you will act as the finance partner for sales and project teams within the Compression Service Organization. You will support the commercial and financial execution of service orders, ensuring strong performance, compliance and risk management throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Review, analyse and negotiate financial and commercial terms for customer proposals and Master Frame Agreements.
• Ensure accurate cost calculations and pricing structures during contract negotiations in collaboration with sales leads and project managers.
• Provide commercial support to project teams in line with PM@SE guidelines and contractual requirements.
• Manage revenue recognition, forecasting, cash‑flow and margin optimisation for assigned projects.
• Monitor project risks and opportunities and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS 15, local GAAP, tax regulations, legal requirements and foreign‑exchange policies.
• Prepare and present regular project and financial status reports to management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional and international teams across multiple countries and travel when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in finance, accounting or project execution environments.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, IFRS and Percentage‑of‑Completion accounting principles.
• Experience working in international, cross‑functional settings.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure with a high level of autonomy.
