Community Manager for Family Section 8 Apartment Complex

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Community Manager to oversee a 52‑unit Family Section 8 apartment complex. The ideal candidate will interact positively with applicants, residents, and team members while maintaining a fun, hard‑working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain proficiency in PB‑Section and LIHTC programs.
• Assist in developing the annual budget and manage day‑to‑day budget operations.
• Ensure the property meets KPI goals for occupancy, collections, compliance, asset performance, and budget management.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports.
• Guarantee safe, decent, and sanitary housing for all residents.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred).
• Minimum two years of management experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Fluent in English (read, speak, write).
• Ability to pass a full background check.
• Strong experience with affordable‑housing programs, including participation in management and occupancy reviews, UPCS/REAC inspections, and resident‑occupied project renovations.
