About the role

The Permanent Controller will join the Permanent Control Department of Gulf Bank Algérie. The role focuses on post‑event verification of operations across agency networks and central structures, ensuring compliance with internal policies and Algerian banking regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Audit a sample of daily accounting records and cash closures for agency branches.
• Design and maintain monitoring tools and dashboards for continuous oversight.
• Promote strict adherence to bank procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and update permanent control points based on the bank’s risk map.
• Track and verify the remediation of identified anomalies.
• Prepare synthesis reports for senior management and risk committees.

Required profile

• Higher education degree in Statistics, Finance, Management, Accounting or related field.
• At least one year of experience in a similar control or audit position.
• Proficiency with standard office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Good knowledge of banking regulations.
• Strong analytical and synthesis abilities.
• High level of rigor, precision, confidentiality and flexibility.
