Diabetes Medical Manager – Algeria

About the role

The Diabetes Medical Manager will lead the implementation of Sanofi’s diabetes strategy in Algeria. Working closely with cross‑functional franchise leads, the role combines scientific expertise with strategic planning to improve standards of care and influence clinical practice.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a strategic business partner, initiating projects that raise standards of care and drive changes in clinical practice.
• Lead evidence planning and execution, analysing data gaps and stakeholder needs.
• Develop and implement medical plans aligned with franchise and regional strategies.
• Collaborate with commercial, marketing, value‑access, health economics, regulatory and clinical teams.
• Build and maintain relationships with external experts and key opinion leaders.
• Coordinate with above‑country colleagues to ensure alignment with global and regional plans.
• Create innovative digital educational and scientific content.
• Champion the patient voice in medical strategy development.
• Provide leadership, coaching and mentorship to team members.

Required profile

• Doctorate‑level education (MD, PhD or PharmD preferred).
• Relevant industry experience in medical affairs or clinical practice, preferably within diabetes.
• Strong understanding of data generation, including clinical development, Real‑World Evidence and data‑gap analysis.
• Proven ability to work independently and navigate ambiguous environments.
