About the role

The Engagement Assistant supports the audit and risk management teams in delivering high‑quality client engagements. You will coordinate administrative, technical and billing tasks while ensuring compliance with KPMG's internal tools and procedures.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage Risk Management (RM) evaluation processes, including Sentinel Approval Number (SAN) requests and updates.
  • Prepare draft Engagement Acceptance/Continuance entries in the Global CEAC dashboard for manager review.
  • Draft and circulate Engagement Letters and Multi‑Firm Engagement documents, track client signatures, and coordinate with foreign KPMG offices.
  • Initiate procurement by requesting purchase orders in the P2P tool and follow up on supplier invoices.
  • Support daily use of internal tools (Global CEAC, Sentinel, STAR, CRM) and maintain job records in STAR.
  • Collaborate with the Engagement Manager to draft RM documentation such as reliance letters and NDAs.
  • Draft, format and finalize deliverables, presentations and reports according to team instructions.
  • Organise internal and external meetings and provide billing support, including cost updates and invoice preparation.
  • Run STAR reports (e.g., WIP) and share knowledge with teammates, acting as a performance manager when needed.

Required profile

  • Strong computer skills with Outlook and the full MS Office suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Basic knowledge of anti‑money‑laundering rules and Know‑Your‑Customer processes.
  • Familiarity with internal tools such as CRM, P2P, STAR and related platforms.
  • Excellent organization, time‑management and analytical abilities.
  • Fluent in English and either French or German; additional languages are a plus.
  • Minimum education: Baccalaureat/A‑Levels; higher degrees are advantageous.
  • First professional experience in a fast‑paced corporate environment; recent graduates are welcome.
