English, Maths and Science iPrimary Teacher

About the role

A full-time, on-site position in Algiers for an English, Maths and Science teacher following the Pearson iPrimary curriculum. The teacher delivers engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons to primary learners, meeting both Pearson iPrimary standards and the school's academic expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and prepare lessons and assess student progress, giving feedback and keeping clear records of achievement
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and take part in school meetings
• Contribute to extracurricular and enrichment activities that support student growth
• Create inclusive classrooms that promote critical thinking, problem-solving and language development

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with recognised teaching credentials and experience in lesson planning and classroom management
• Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant subject (English, Mathematics, Science) preferred
• Experience teaching English, Maths and Science in British or international curricula is highly beneficial
• Experience in multicultural school environments and willingness to work with international and local staff

Required skills

• Strong English communication skills, with the ability to support language development and differentiate instruction
• Science education competencies and knowledge of physics and general science for primary learners
• Solid mathematics teaching skills, including numeracy and problem-solving
• Ability to create inclusive, student-centred classrooms and manage behaviour positively
