English Teacher

About the role

Little Kingdom School is seeking a full‑time English Teacher to join its team in Algiers. The successful candidate will deliver engaging English lessons to primary and secondary students, following both Algerian and British curricula.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver effective English language lessons in line with curriculum standards.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback and support individual learning needs.
• Foster a love for English language and literature among students.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and contribute to school events and extracurricular activities.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in English teaching and general teaching methodologies.
• Ability to design creative and engaging lesson plans.
• Experience working with primary and/or secondary students.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, English or a related field (required); teaching certification is a plus.
• Fluency in English (required); fluency in Arabic or French is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Algerian and/or British curricula is beneficial.
