Field Service Engineer (Technical Consultant)

About the role

The Field Service Engineer will act as the technical liaison between Snibe, regional sales teams, and local distributors. You will ensure the Maglumi diagnostic system operates reliably, support end‑users, and help improve overall customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Provide regional technical support (online and on‑site) for the Maglumi system.
• Collaborate with sales and distributors to enhance end‑user and distributor satisfaction.
• Promote optimal reagent parameters and monitor reagent consumption per analyzer.
• Collect installation data, maintain relationships with reference customers, and follow up on their needs.
• Deliver service training to local engineers and continuously improve their technical capabilities.
• Manage reagent and spare‑part applications for distributors, ensure timely returns, and address complaints.
• Perform any additional tasks required by Snibe.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the IVD (in‑vitro diagnostics) field.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related scientific discipline.
• Experience with total laboratory automation (biochemistry & immunology) is preferred.
• Strong ability to work independently, handle pressure, and communicate effectively.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with IVD systems, specifically the Maglumi analyzer.
• Knowledge of reagent management and laboratory automation processes.
• Technical troubleshooting and on‑site service expertise.
