Finance Coordinator – Algeria

About the role

The Finance Coordinator in Hydra will support the local finance function for a pharmaceutical portfolio, reporting to the Finance Manager – North Africa. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures accurate and timely financial operations, from daily accounting to monthly reporting and budgeting.

Key responsibilities

• Post, verify, and guarantee the accuracy of accounting entries such as supplier and customer invoices and expense claims.
• Review, consolidate, and approve financial reports and designated budget items.
• Track payments, collections, reimbursements, and monitor local costs and revenue.
• Apply internal procedures and local regulations, and organize quarterly audits.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ongoing account monitoring.
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
• Analyze variances between budget and actual figures and recommend corrective actions.
• Supply financial performance indicators (KPIs) to teams and management.
• Participate in preparing the annual budget and financial forecasts, and monitor budget execution.
• Identify cost‑optimization opportunities and support process digitalization.
• Assist managers and operational teams on financial matters and liaise with external providers such as auditors, banks, and suppliers.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
• Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of local financial regulations and internal control procedures.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
