Human Resources Manager

About the role

Eurl Hamadou Azzedine, an Algerian importer of electrical and electronic equipment founded in 2004, is hiring a full-time, on-site Human Resources Manager in Algiers. The role oversees the entire employee life cycle, from recruitment to offboarding, and works closely with leadership to build an inclusive workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management and offboarding
• Develop and implement HR policies and manage employee relations
• Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with local labour laws
• Coordinate training and development and support workforce planning
• Handle payroll-related HR processes with finance and manage benefits administration
• Promote health, safety and well-being initiatives

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field; HR certifications are a plus
• Previous experience in an HR management or senior HR generalist role, preferably in import, distribution or related industries
• Fluency in French and Arabic; working knowledge of English is beneficial

Required skills

• Recruitment, interviewing and talent selection, with a talent pipeline
• HR policy development, performance management and employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary procedures
• Knowledge of Algerian labour law and workplace health and safety
• HR administration, including HRIS or personnel databases, contracts and HR reporting
• Office software proficiency; familiarity with HR tools is an advantage
