About the role
UNICEF is looking for an ICT Intern to join its Operations team in Algiers. The internship provides hands‑on experience in ICT support within a United Nations environment, contributing to the delivery of essential services for children in Algeria.
Key responsibilities
- Provide first‑level technical support for hardware, software, printers and connectivity issues.
- Assist with installation, configuration and troubleshooting of IT equipment.
- Support onboarding and off‑boarding processes, including account setup and system access.
- Monitor network performance and help maintain LAN/WAN and Wi‑Fi infrastructure.
- Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory and email systems.
- Support the use of Microsoft 365 tools such as Teams, SharePoint, Outlook and OneDrive.
- Assist with data backup, recovery procedures and implementation of ICT security policies.
- Maintain ICT inventory records and help track IT assets.
