Indirect Procurement Manager – Algeria (FMCG)

About the role

This position leads the indirect procurement function for a globally recognised FMCG organisation operating in Algeria. You will own the full procurement strategy for a significant annual spend, working closely with senior leadership to influence commercial and operational decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute end‑to‑end indirect procurement strategy for Algeria.
• Partner directly with the country’s senior leadership team to align procurement with business objectives.
• Lead sourcing initiatives across Marketing, Corporate Services, IT, Facilities Management and other indirect categories.
• Drive supplier performance, value creation and procurement excellence across the local business.
• Collaborate with a global procurement network to ensure best‑in‑class processes and career development opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven indirect procurement experience within a multinational FMCG or consumer‑goods environment.
• Strong background managing Marketing and commercial procurement alongside broader indirect spend.
• Track record of leading complex sourcing projects and building senior stakeholder relationships.
• Commercially minded, analytical, with excellent communication and influencing abilities.
• Fluent in English and French.
