Internal Auditor

About the role

The Bank ABC Algeria subsidiary is seeking a qualified Internal Auditor to join its internal audit team in Algiers. The role involves conducting audit missions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform audit missions according to the established schedule.
• Prepare end‑of‑mission reports and submit them to the Head of Internal Audit.
• Participate in opening and closing meetings of audit engagements.
• Review and assess the internal control system.
• Ensure reliability, completeness of information, and compliance with laws and regulations.
• Protect assets and promote efficient use of resources.
• Report results to the Chief of Internal Audit and follow up on previous recommendations.
• Collect and update technical documentation of the structure.

Required profile

• Graduate from a recognized university or school.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in banking or finance, with at least 3 years in internal audit.
• Advanced proficiency in Arabic, French, and English.
