Junior Business Controller

About the role

Danone Djurdjura Algeria is looking for a Junior Business Controller. The role covers variance analysis, budget and forecasting support, monthly closing and reporting, and collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse variances between actual results, budget and forecasts.
• Monitor the evolution of turnover, margins and key performance indicators.
• Take part in preparing the annual budget and monthly and quarterly forecasting.
• Contribute to the monthly closing work and prepare commercial and financial performance reports.
• Build and update dashboards on Excel, Power BI or other reporting tools, and consolidate financial data from different functions.
• Identify risks and opportunities linked to monthly and annual targets, and help automate and improve reporting and management control.
• Ensure the quality, consistency and reliability of financial data.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (Bac+4/Bac+5) in Finance, Management Control, Accounting, Business School or equivalent.
• Young graduate or candidate with first experience in finance or management control, such as an internship or work-study program.
• Analytical mind, rigor, reliability and organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and work in a cross-functional team.

Required skills

• Good command of Excel.
• Knowledge of Power BI, Power Query, SAP or another ERP is an asset.
• Understanding of key financial metrics: revenue, margin, budget and forecast.
