About the role
Halliburton is hiring a Laboratory Technologist (requisition 211980) in Hassi Messaoud, Algeria, within its Baroid product service line. The role is full time, entry-level and involves laboratory testing under strict supervision, with a focus on chemical and engineering technology.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory tests following standard procedures, selecting, calibrating, using and maintaining the appropriate test equipment and instrumentation.
- Assist with data analysis and documentation related to testing, chemicals, test procedures and laboratory equipment.
- Build and/or modify non-routine prototypes, models and special equipment, and carry out associated testing.
- Support the submission of ideas or new designs and techniques to help achieve project goals.
- Incorporate HSE awareness, regulations, best practices, product and process reliability and quality into the development of products and processes.
Required profile
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Four years of experience in Chemical/Engineering Technology.
