Lighting Sales Manager - North Africa (Algeria)

About the role

OPPLE Lighting, a global lighting solutions provider, is looking for a results-driven Sales Manager to lead sales and business development in Algeria and expand its presence across the North African market. The role is based in Algeria and requires frequent travel across North Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets in Algeria and other North African markets.
• Identify, develop and manage local distributors, dealers and channel partners, and expand municipal, commercial and project-based sales channels.
• Lead project sales from customer needs assessment, product selection and quotation, through contract negotiation, order fulfillment, delivery and payment collection.
• Monitor market trends, competitors, pricing, tender opportunities and policies, and prepare regular market analysis reports.
• Organize and take part in local exhibitions, product promotions and customer engagement activities.
• Work with OPPLE's headquarters in China and the regional Africa team on market needs, after-sales support and sales policies.

Required profile

• Currently based in Algeria, with the ability to work locally.
• Bachelor's degree or above.
• At least 5 years of sales experience in the lighting industry.
• Professional proficiency in Arabic, French and English.
• Strong knowledge of the Algerian and North African lighting market, including distribution channels and customer networks.
• Proven experience in project-based or engineering sales, preferably in municipal, commercial or industrial lighting.
• Ability to develop new customers, build channel partnerships, manage sales pipelines and follow orders through to payment collection.
• Self-motivated, commercially minded and able to work independently; willing to travel frequently across North Africa; holds a driving licence.
