Materials Management Services Professional

About the role

We are looking for a Materials Management Services Professional to join Baker Hughes’ Project Operations team. The role supports the delivery of oilfield services by ensuring accurate material handling, inventory control and timely dispatch to project sites across the value chain.

Key responsibilities

• Verify material shipments against site receipts and conduct 100 % physical inspections upon arrival.
• Manage warehouse inventory, including segregation of damaged items and preservation support for customers.
• Provide inventory management assistance, special‑tool identification and allocation to meet project schedules.
• Support site managers in forecasting material and tool requirements ahead of installation timelines.
• Maintain documentation, handle non‑conformity management (NCM) and reconcile punch‑list items.
• Prepare technical reports, daily and weekly briefings for customers and internal teams.
• Execute all activities in compliance with Baker Hughes safety, quality and core‑value standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum three years of experience in materials planning, warehousing and inventory management.
• Fluency in French, English and Arabic (written and spoken).
• Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership abilities.
• Proven analytical, problem‑solving and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Oracle or SAP ERP systems.
