About the role

The Maths and Science Pearson iPrimary Teacher will deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons in Mathematics and Science to primary learners, following the Pearson iPrimary framework. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Algiers and contributes to a multicultural teaching team.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver differentiated Maths and Science lessons aligned with Pearson iPrimary standards.
• Create learning materials and assessments that address diverse student needs.
• Monitor student progress, provide timely feedback and maintain accurate records.
• Manage classroom activities and support student well‑being.
• Collaborate with colleagues on cross‑curricular projects and enrichment activities.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions and school events.

Required profile

• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and experience teaching maths at primary level.
• Expertise in Science education, including basic Physics concepts for primary learners.
• Qualified Teacher status or equivalent certification with proven classroom management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Mathematics, Science, or a related field.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and teamwork in a multicultural environment.
