Operator I – Manufacturing Production

About the role

Medline Industries seeks an Operator I to run converting line and packaging equipment in a high‑volume manufacturing environment, ensuring product quality and efficient production.

Key responsibilities

• Operate converting line equipment to load, thread, cut, fold, saturate, and stack various cloth materials.
• Run packaging equipment, including film and label loading, to produce complete wipe packages.
• Manage automated pick‑and‑place boxing lines, load boxes onto skids, shrink‑wrap, and transport pallets.
• Perform cleaning, hand‑packing, and other support activities as needed.
• Read and follow equipment procedures, set up machines safely, and troubleshoot failures.
• Monitor product quality, adjust processes, and document machine parameters.
• Provide backup for other positions and complete assigned projects.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of experience in a high‑volume manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read charts, indicators, and operator checklists.
• Basic math skills, including fractional and decimal calculations.
• Capability to lift objects up to 50 lb and work in warm or cold environments.

Required skills

• Reading and interpreting equipment procedures and control instructions.
• Basic English literacy (read, write, understand).
