Part-Time English Teacher (18h/week)

About the role

We are looking for a passionate part‑time English Teacher to join the British Council’s teaching team. The role involves delivering high‑quality English language lessons to a diverse group of learners, supporting the organisation’s global ELT strategy and contributing to cultural relations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging English lessons that meet British Council Global Teaching Standards.
• Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback and encourage learner autonomy.
• Participate in staff meetings, course development and continuous professional development activities.
• Assist with local marketing, promotional initiatives and ensure an excellent customer experience.

Required skills
