About the role
The British Council is seeking two passionate Part‑Time English Teachers to deliver high‑quality language instruction to a diverse learner base. Working 18 hours per week, you will contribute to the organisation’s global English strategy and support cultural relations through effective teaching.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging English lessons that align with British Council Global Teaching Standards.
- Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback and encourage learner autonomy.
- Participate in staff meetings, contribute to course development and continuous improvement of teaching materials.
- Engage in professional development activities and share best practices with colleagues.
- Support centre activities such as local marketing initiatives and ensure a positive customer experience.
Required profile
- Demonstrated passion for teaching English to learners of varied backgrounds.
- Commitment to high standards of teaching excellence and continuous learning.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multicultural team.
