Part‑Time English Teacher (18 h/week)

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Part‑Time Teacher of English to deliver high‑quality, engaging lessons to a diverse learner base. You will contribute to the British Council’s global English strategy and help strengthen its reputation as a leading authority in English Language Teaching.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver 18 hours of English lessons per week, adapting to varied learning styles.
• Ensure all teaching aligns with British Council Global Teaching Standards and organisational expectations.
• Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback and encourage learner autonomy.
• Engage in continuous professional development and share best practices with colleagues.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the evaluation and improvement of courses and materials.
• Support centre activities, including local marketing initiatives and delivering an outstanding customer experience.
