Project Coordinator - Dairy Farm Construction

About the role

Baladna Dairy Farm Project in Adrar, Algeria, is a large development project implemented under a partnership between Baladna Q.P.S.C. and the Government of Algeria, covering about 117,000 hectares across three sites in southern Algeria. The company seeks a Project Coordinator to oversee on-site construction activities, monitor contractors' commitments and track progress to final handover. The successful candidate acts as Baladna's representative on site, coordinating stakeholders and verifying that works meet approved technical requirements, quality standards and schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and follow up daily construction activities on site and track project progress against approved schedules.
• Attend critical inspections, tests and handover activities.
• Verify that works comply with approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Identify, document and report deviations or non-conformities.
• Maintain progress reports, tracking logs and project documentation.
• Follow up punch-list items and prepare regular reports on status, risks and achievements.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers and internal technical teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in large-scale construction, infrastructure, industrial or agricultural projects.
• Proven experience in site coordination, construction supervision or owner's representative roles.
• Ability to read, interpret and review construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Good command of professional English; willingness to work on site in a remote desert environment.
