Project Manager – Power & Utilities EPC Projects

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead large‑scale EPC, turnkey, supply and service projects in the power and utilities sector. The role oversees the complete project lifecycle from design through to commissioning and handover, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end execution of large‑scale EPC/turnkey projects, meeting contractual, technical and quality requirements.
• Manage the full lifecycle: engineering, design, procurement, manufacturing, installation, commissioning and final handover.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using project planning tools, allocating resources and tracking progress.
• Act as primary contact for clients, consultants, suppliers and internal cross‑functional teams.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms, handle variations/claims and mitigate contractual risks.
• Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control and margin optimization.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks throughout the lifecycle.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, quality and site execution.
• Oversee procurement and supplier performance to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Drive technical problem‑solving and decision‑making, applying advanced engineering and quality assurance principles.
• Coordinate multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously, prioritising short‑term milestones and long‑term objectives.
• Prepare and present regular project reports on progress, risks, financial status and KPIs to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive project management experience, including at least 3 years in a Project Manager role.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale power or utilities projects on time and within budget.
