Quality Assurance & Food Safety Manager

About the role

Our client, a leading cheese manufacturer in Algeria, is seeking a senior Quality Assurance & Food Safety Manager to lead a strategic transformation of its quality and safety systems. This full‑time position will drive the design, implementation and institutionalisation of world‑class management practices across the dairy production site.

Key responsibilities

• Design and embed a comprehensive Quality Assurance and Food Safety Management System aligned with international best practices.
• Lead a company‑wide quality transformation programme to raise operational excellence and consumer confidence.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards for all cheese product lines.
• Collaborate with production, R&D and supply‑chain teams to embed a sustainable quality culture.
• Prepare the organisation to meet the expectations of multinational dairy partners and strategic business allies.

Required profile

• Proven track record of designing and institutionalising QA and Food Safety systems in a dairy manufacturing environment.
• Hands‑on leadership experience in cheese production and broader dairy operations.
• Strong background in driving large‑scale quality transformation initiatives.
• Ability to work autonomously and influence cross‑functional teams.
